Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one Mr Bertie MC Lean. One of the saddest things someone can experience is the death of a loved one. Our Creator Jehovah God understand this deep pain that one can feel with the death of a loved one and offers comfort in his Word the Bible. At Isaiah 25:8 it says " He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. " Acts 24:15 says " There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous. " Can you imagine seeing your loved one again right here on the earth in the future? Our Creator has the power to bring back to life our dead loved ones and he will. As Job 14:15 says " You will long or yearn for the work of your hands." So God has a desire to bring persons back to life because death was never part of his purpose. To find out more about God's purpose for mankind, please visit www.jw.org . I'll like to extend my sympathies to the family and friends of Mr Bernie McLean. The question comes up what hope is there for our loved ones who have died? This is because death affects everyone of us. But does death end it all? Are the dead forgotten forever? Consider what the Bible says at John 5:28,29"All those in the memorial tombs......will come out". So the dead are not forgotten. This is what the Bible calls the resurrection where billions will be brought back to life with the hope of living forever in an abundance of peace.
